Free applications, more profitable than Paid

This week you got some news about the iOS app market in U.S. Why? Because in the App Store, in the ranking of profitable applications, have completely disappeared all paid apps, giving way to free.

When a few years ago was born the App Store with applications for iPad, it was dominated by paid apps, the prices were higher than iPhone applications. In the last two years, however, developers have realized that free applications with the option of top-selling through them, generate more profits in the long run.

Most application developers have realized that to increase the number of downloads, simply just create a free application that makes the user see the advantages and benefits of it, in order to subsequently earning selling additional packages for that application.

The main advantage of this is that we now have the opportunity to try a free application before deciding if we really want to buy it.

What do you think of this situation?
