Foxconn explains why the production of iPhone 5 is more slow

Foxconn is the subcontracted company which dedicates a plant to assemble products from Apple, iPhone. iPhone 5 has been one of the iPhone but sold to date but it is also one of the iPhone with more lack of stock (I'm example, bought on September 28 and arrives October 29).

Sharp a few months ago announced that they would have some problems to meet the demand for screens although they subsequently warned that no longer had that problem and they could meet the demand. Why still delaying then?

iPhone 5 due to the miniaturization and precision of their manufacture requires increased mounting time and this is the reason why there is less stock available on the device. It has done so know a Foxconn Executive through The Wall Street Journal.
In addition it also means requiring a longer time to not make mistakes and workers pressure is greater, reason by which a few weeks ago is supposed a supposed strike of workers after Apple demand greater quality control result of early complaints that appeared damaged terminals or with minor problems such as the recent "loose" battery.
